I got a WhatsApp at 2.00am this morning. It was a video clip of a group of our members at the Vegan Women Summit in Hollywood shouting “VEGAN BUSINESS TRIBE!” at the camera!
It really made my day (night) because I love what our community has become. I always get a buzz from our members seeking each other out at events around the world, be that bumping into each other at a local vegan fair or at the most glamourous vegan event of the year in LA.
The support our members give each other is a huge part of Vegan Business Tribe. I’ve just finished recording the first season of our new podcast ‘Vegan Business Revolution’ where I’ve carried-out short 20 minute interviews with VBT members to showcase the width and breadth of the vegan business scene. At the end of each interview, just as the timer ran out, I threw-in a quick unprompted question: “What’s the best thing about being part of Vegan Business Tribe” I asked. “The people, the community” came almost every reply.
So if you are a member who’s always sat on the edges of Vegan Business Tribe then I urge you to get in touch. Come along to an online event, say hello in our Community Hub on Slack or just email me on hello@veganbusinesstribe.com if we’ve not spoken for a while and we can set up a Zoom. And if you do meet up with another VBT member in real life, please remember to take a selfie and send it to us!!
