When I have a Zoom call with someone they often ask if my background is real. We invested quite a bit in our little studio which includes my ‘foliage wall’ that I have peppered with postcard prints of our members. At the start of the year I refreshed the wall with new cards and I really agonised who I was going to put on there, because they are going to appear on every podcast episode, interview, recording, Zoom meeting and online event that we run this year.
Some are just good memories, such as a photo of a group of us at Vegan Camp Out last year and my ‘stage selfie’ at the Vegan Party Conference. Others are a little advert for our our long-term supporters, such as Vegan Accountants and MAD Promotions. Others are of our members who have really impressed me how their businesses have grown or evolved since they’ve been part of the tribe. I wish the wall was ten times bigger, because for everyone I put on it there’s ten more that I wish I could have included.
So I want you to make it your mission to be on my wall in 12 months time.
