Do you want to launch a sub-tribe?

As you likely know, I’m currently half-way through the ProVeg Kickstarting for Good Incubator, a funded programme in Berlin for social impact entrepreneurs. It’s already been a wild wide and you can follow my incubator video diary here.

In my latest diary (episode 16) I came to the realisation that if Vegan Business Tribe is going to grow into the world-changing organisation we want it to be, then I have to get out of the way and let YOU grow the tribe.

I’ve had a number of members approach me in the past saying they would like their own ‘sub-group’ of Vegan Business Tribe – for example a sub-group where vegan graphic designers and creatives can support each other, or a sub-group for vegan therapists to come together to promote the sector as a whole. I’ve always loved the idea but I’ve not had the time to set them up and run them.

So we’re going to take a different approach. If you have an idea for a ‘sub-tribe’ and want to become one of our ‘tribe leaders’ then I want to talk to you. First to find out what you think your sub-tribe would need (your own chat space, your own website, your own events) and then second to find out what would make being the leader of that tribe valuable to you. That might be through promoting you and giving you visibility in your sector to build your personal brand, or it might because your sub-tribe would attract people who are potential clients for your business. Or it might be splitting the membership fee of the people who join your sub-tribe with you to give you a side-income. At the moment we’re exploring lots of ideas.

I’m also open to what a sub-tribe could be. It could be based on a certain sector or topic, or it could be a sub-tribe for your city, region or country. As long as you think that we could find at least 20 people who might join, then let’s have a chat. Email me on hello@veganbusinesstribe.com, send me a message on Slack or just hit reply.
