This is our activism
This is our way to move the vegan cause forwards, by helping vegan businesses skill-up and scale-up. Founded in 2020, Vegan Business Tribe has grown to over 2,000 registered users and has had a direct and significant impact on the success and growth of hundreds of vegan businesses.
Our impact document showcases our impact over the past two years and outlines what’s needed to continue into the future. We invite you to download the document and get involved in the conversation about what happens next with Vegan Business Tribe.

Some examples of how we’ve put vegan business on the agenda and created opportunities for vegan companies.
Launched Vegan Business Tribe Live, the UK’s first vegan business conference. Two days including more than 20 speakers and panellists at the London Olympia, as part of VegfestUK.
We also subsidised 12 stands for our members creating a ‘Vegan Business Tribe Village’ – meaning our members could have a presence at the UK’s largest vegan consumer show at a hugely reduced price.
Worked with Chris Evans’ Carfest to include a ‘vegan village’ at their North and South events. Helped source vegan businesses to exhibit at the event and secured several vegan companies (including VBT members) free stands. Event footfall estimated to be 150k+ people.
Partnered with CrowdfunderUK to take 18 vegan businesses through their first crowdfunding campaign as a supported group project. Collectively raised over £20k for Vegan Business Tribe members and created an online resource centre for crowdfunding on the VBT website.
Worked with producers at South Shore Productions to find vegan food manufacturers to apply to be featured in their new ITV television programme.
Provided statistics and information to BBC journalists for features on vegan businesses in Scotland.
Positively championing the vegan business scene and getting the topic of vegan businesses on the agenda at many events, virtual and physical.
Including the Vegan Finance Summit, VegfestUK, and Vegan Interior Design Week.
